KISMEC Train the Trainers for Cambodia, Lao PDR and Viet Nam
Kedah Industrial Skills and Management Development Centre (KISMEC) was awarded a project by ASEAN Secretariat funded by Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF). The title of this project is Common Standard Curriculum in Industrial Electronics for CLMV Countries where it aims to assist Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar and Viet Nam (CLMV) in strengthening their Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector.
KISMEC’s role is instrumental in training the trainers from six Centres of Excellence (CoEs) in which 20 trainers from all of the CoEs will undergo one month training at KISMEC from 2 – 30 November 2022. After the training completion, the CoEs will be equipped with appropriate equipment with the help of KISMEC.
By equipping the participating CoEs from Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Viet Nam with befitting tools and providing trainings to their trainers, it can be the catalyst for their enhancement on industrial electronics and conducting training where the trained laboratory technicians will be in charge of the equipment.
