In order to promote the “ASEAN-Japan Cold Chain Logistics Project” under the framework of the ASEAN-Japan Transport Partnership, this meeting discussed the draft of “ASEAN-Japan Guidelines on Cold Chain Logistics.” Also, in order to support the promotion of green logistics in ASEAN, it discussed the development of the Green Logistics Partnership Conference in ASEAN countries and the collection of best practices on green logistics. Furthermore, for to the development of logistics human resources in ASEAN, specific measures will be taken to further utilize the “Japan-Mekong Regional Logistics Training Center” established in Haiphong, Viet Nam. The Center was established through the project “Establishment of Sub-regional Logistics Training Center in Vietnam” supported through the ASEAN-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership (AJCEP) under the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
