JENESYS Online Webinar on Ocean Plastics Pollution
Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) held JENESYS Online Webinar Theme: Ocean Plastics Pollution on 6 August 2021. Mr. Hikari from Yoron Town, Kagoshima delivered the lecture and introduced their policies against ocean plastics pollution. In addition, volunteer group, “Unjami” had a presentation about their beach cleaning and its outcome. Participants enjoyed opinion exchange with lecturers.Japan has been conducting various international cooperation activities related to the problem of marine plastic litter. We hope that Japan and Asian countries will continue to work together to preserve our beautiful oceans.
