Deputy Secretary-General H.E. Kung Phoak’s Visit to the Overseas Environmental Cooperation Center (OECC) Japan

Professor Dr. Kazu Takemoto, President of the Overseas Environmental Cooperation Center (OECC) Japan welcomed the visit of Deputy Secretary-General H.E. Kung Phoak (in charge of the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community) on December 6, 2019.

Professor Dr. Kazu Takemoto provided a briefing on their works in ASEAN including climate change adaption, disaster risk reduction and air pollution. As the implementing agency, they also updated the progress of project Development and Implementation of Facility / Company Level Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) Systems for Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions in ASEAN Member States (AMS). The project is supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
