ASEAN Post Ministerial Conference with Japan Discusses Partnership Plans

Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn attended the ASEAN Post Ministerial Conference with Japan held in Jakarta this afternoon. The meeting reviewed the progress of ASEAN-Japan cooperation in light of the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation this year. The meeting also discussed the establishment of an ASEAN-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and the key outcomes and deliverables of the ASEAN-Japan Commemorative Summit scheduled in Tokyo later this year.
