Highlight of JENESYS2024 Activities Reported in August 2025

JENESYS2024 aims to promote mutual trust and understanding among the peoples of Japan, ASEAN Member States, and Timor-Leste, to build a basis for future friendship and cooperation, as well as to encourage an understanding of various aspects of Japan. The project is supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF). Mekong Five Countries Online Alumni Meeting
On Friday, 22 August, JICE hosted the JENESY2025 Mekong Five Countries Online Alumni Meeting for participants from Cambodia, Lao DPR, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam. A total of 37 alumni joined the event.
JENESYS Alumni Essay Contest 2025 Announcement
JICE announces the winners of the JENESYS Alumni Essay Contest 2025, with the overall theme: “What JENESYS Means to Me.” Among the winners, several alumni from Myanmar, the Philippines, Lao PDR, and Singapore were among the award recipients.
