JAKARTA, 23 April 2026 - The 20th Meeting of the ASEAN-Japan Joint Cooperation Committee Working Group (AJJCC-WG) was held at the ASEAN Secretariat on 23 April 2026. Co-chaired by Singapore and Japan, the meeting included participation from the ASEAN Member States, the ASEAN Secretariat, JICA and the JAIF Management Team.

Discussions focused on pivotal areas of collaboration, specifically the follow-up of the ASEAN-Japan Joint Vision Statement and comprehensive updates on JAIF. The meeting highlighted the progress of projects under JAIF, including the JENESYS programs and the AHEAD50 initiative, underscoring the enduring partnership and commitment to continuous cooperation.
