JAKARTA, 8 January 2025 - JMT conducted a comprehensive briefing session for the proponent of the “Development of AADMER Work Programme 2026-2030” project.

This critical initiative aims to guide ASEAN in further enhancing disaster management efforts across the region, strengthening ASEAN’s vision to be a global leader in disaster management, as outlined in the ASEAN Vision 2025 on Disaster Management.

During the session, officers from the Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance Division (DMHAD) of the ASEAN Secretariat, including the project officer, were briefed on essential elements for the successful implementation of JAIF projects.

The project is funded by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) and will span a duration of 17 months.

JMT Programme Coordinator provided a briefing to the officers from the DMHA division of the ASEAN Secretariat.
