JAKARTA, 23 December 2025 - The inception meeting for the newly approved Development of ASEAN-Japan CORSIA Eligible Fuels (CEF) Certification Guidebook - SAF Feedstock Diversification and Certification - was convened.

The meeting brought together key stakeholders from the Ministry of Transport, Indonesia, Japan Transport and Tourism Research Institute (JTTRI), the ASEAN Secretariat, and the JAIF Management Team (JMT) to discuss key aspects of JAIF project implementation and the indicative work plan of the project.

This project will launch a guidebook and seminar on Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) certification in ASEAN countries to expand the supply of sustainable aviation fuels and help the international aviation sector achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
