JMT Attended the Opening Ceremony of the Fifth AJFP
JAKARTA, 26 July 2026 - The Fifth ASEAN Junior Fellowship Programme (AJFP) at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat officially commenced on 28 July 2026. The four-week programme is generously supported by Brunei Darussalam and Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
The opening ceremony brought together representatives from ASEAN Member States, the ASEAN Secretariat, and the JAIF Management Team JMT to officially welcome the 23 fellows.
Launched as an initiative under Brunei Darussalam's ASEAN Chairmanship in 2021, the AJFP aims to empower ASEAN youth by fostering regional cooperation and strengthening networks among junior officers from the ASEAN Member States. Through hands-on experience in a multilateral environment, the programme equips participants with valuable knowledge and skills, while deepening their understanding of ASEAN cooperation.
