JMT Attends the 1st PSC Meeting for the ASEAN-ERAT Phase IV

BOGOR, 25 June 2026 - The First Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting for Strengthening the Capacity of the ASEAN Emergency Response and Assessment Team (ASEAN-ERAT) Phase IV successfully concluded in Sentul City, Indonesia.

Co-chaired by Singapore and Thailand, the meeting featured robust participation from Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Timor-Leste, and Viet Nam, with representatives from the Philippines joining online.

The members engaged in dynamic discussions regarding ongoing and upcoming activities for 2026 including the critical ASEAN-ERAT Preparedness Missions, alongside key financial updates and projections to ensure smooth implementation.

This vital capacity-building project is supported by the continued and valued support of the Government of Japan through JAIF.
