JAKARTA, 4 March 2026 – The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Secretariat (SEAMEO) visited the JMT Office for a Courtesy Meeting. The delegation, led by SEAMEO Director Habibah Abdul Rahim, was welcomed by JMT Director Naoki Minamiguchi and JMT Senior Programme Officer, Billy Sumuan.

The meeting explored potential collaboration to support the implementation of the ASEAN Community Vision 2045, “Our Shared Future,” and to further strengthen Japan–ASEAN cooperation in the education sector.

Senior Officer of the Education, Youth, and Sports Division, the ASEAN Secretariat, Amelia Serano, also joined the meeting.
