This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER), a milestone in ASEAN’s collective commitment to building a safer, more resilient region.

Over two decades, AADMER has guided ASEAN’s journey toward One ASEAN One Response, strengthening cooperation, preparedness, and response to disasters across the region.

The AHA Centre extended its sincere appreciation to the Government of Japan, through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF), for supporting the development of the AADMER Work Programme 2026–2030 and for its continued support in enhancing disaster management in ASEAN through initiatives such as ASEAN Emergency Response and Assessment Team (ASEAN-ERAT), Disaster Emergency Logistic System for ASEAN (DELSA), and AHA Centre Executive (ACE): Leadership in Emergency and Disaster Management Programme  (ACE-LEDMP).
