The Task Force on the Mainstreaming of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the ASEAN Community convened its fifth meeting on 5-6 February 2018 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The meeting deliberated on the first draft of the “ASEAN Enabling Masterplan 2025: Mainstreaming the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (MRPD),” which seeks to complement the implementation of ASEAN Member States’s commitments towards achieving an inclusive community as reaffirmed in the ASEAN Community Vision 2025 and the ASEAN Community Blueprints 2025.
