Daiwa Computer Co., Ltd. has announced its participation in the Japan-ASEAN Agricultural ICT Pilot Project, titled "Profiling Digital Literacy and Developing Digital Capabilities in the Agricultural Sector in ASEAN Member States."

The project, proposed by Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Informatics, is jointly led by Japan Telecommunications Engineering and Consulting (JTEC) and Indonesia’s PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, and is funded by the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).

With participation from 10 ASEAN Member States and Timor-Leste, the initiative aims to assess farmers’ digital literacy, develop skill guidelines, and conduct ICT training and pilot programs to enhance agricultural productivity. Leveraging its hydroponic farming expertise and QR code-based record collection technology, Daiwa Computer will contribute to solving agricultural challenges across ASEAN through the implementation of practical digital solutions.
