The Department of Synthesis, Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (MOLSW) on behalf of the ASEAN Disaster Management Committee has co-hosted the ASEAN Humanitarian Assistance Coordination Centre (AHA Centre) to open the 2nd ASEAN Emergency Telecommunication Network Academic Conference (The 2nd ASEAN ETN Workshop) and the 4th ASEAN Disastrous Information Technology Advisory Group (Fourth Information Communication Technology Advisory Group) up Meeting) officially from 31 March to 1 April 2026, at Vang Vieng, Vientiane.

The meeting was officiated by the Head of Department of Social Network, Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare of Lao PDR, Vongkham Phanthanuvong; Head of ASEAN Disaster Humanitarian Assistance Center (AHA Centre), Lee Yam Ming; Programme Coordinator, JAIF Management Team (JMT), Zin Aung Swe, representatives from ASEAN Member States, the ASEAN Secretariat and International Development Partners.

The ASEAN Emergency Telecommunications Network (ETN) Master Plan Workshop is a part of the Disaster Emergency Logistics System for ASEAN (DELSA) Phase V project, which is supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
