Survey for Eel Catch Sampling in Pelabuhan Ratu, West Java, Indonesia” on 12–15 February 2021. This survey is part of the project Development of Stock Assessment Method and Strengthening of Resources Management Measures for Tropical Anguillid Eel in Southeast Asia supported by Government of Japan through Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) implemented by SEAFDEC.

During the survey, the team visited Cimandiri and Cikaso Rivers as representative eel’s fishing ground in West Java. Water quality monitoring is one of the important aspects in assessing and managing the eel’s ecosystems. Results of the monitoring and the updated information on water quality from this survey would provide the fundamental information for eel resources management.
