Courtesy Meeting with ASEAN Regional Mine Action Center (ARMAC)

A meeting was conducted with the ASEAN Regional Mine Action Center (ARMAC), the Mission of Japan to ASEAN (MoJ), and the JAIF Management Team (JMT) on 13 May 2024.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the MoJ, including Second Secretary KITAYAMA Seigo, and Special Staff SATOUCHI Mai. JMT Director Naoki Minamiguchi and Programme Coordinator Zin Aung Swe also attended this meeting.

Reflecting on the collaborative efforts with ARMAC, a profound impact was made together in the ASEAN community as it has significantly enhanced awareness programs on the dangers of mines and explosive remnants of war, promoted sustainable development, and fostered resilience across the region.
