Courtesy Visit by a Delegation from FAO of the UN

The JAIF Management Team (JMT) welcomed a delegation from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations.

The delegation, led by the Responsible Agricultural Investment Specialist, Emma Jessie McGhie, shared FAO’s engagement in promoting ASEAN Guidelines on Promoting Responsible Investment in Food, Agriculture, and Forestry (ASEAN RAI) in the region.

Japan has been an advocate of RAI for more than a decade and JAIF has supported a regional project to promote the implementation of the ASEAN RAI Guidelines. The meeting provided both parties with an opportunity to explore possible collaboration for further promoting ASEAN RAI Action Plan 2020-2030.
