Courtesy Visit to the Kedah Industrial Skills and Management Development Centre (KISMEC) of Malaysia

KEDAH, 4 September 2023 – The Kedah Industrial Skills and Management Development Centre (KISMEC) has been implementing JAIF-funded Common Standard Curriculum in Industrial Electronics for CLMV Countries.

During a courtesy visit to the Centre in Sungai Petani, Malaysia on 4 September 2023, JAIF Management Team (JMT) Director Naoki Minamiguchi and Programme Coordinator Zin Aung Swe were briefed on the progress and achievements of the project by the Executive Director and a cadre of experienced and skilled trainers of KISMEC. JAIF is the first regional partner of KISMEC. Through the partnership, the Centre has reached out to other ASEAN Member States to build the capacities of workers and engineers in the manufacturing sector.
