JMT Participates in the 6th Project Steering Committee Meeting for the ACE Programme
JAKARTA, 13 August 2021 – The 6th Project Steering Committee (PSC) Meeting for the AHA Centre Executive (ACE) Programme 2018-2020 was held online on 13 August 2021. The meeting was presided by Indonesia, Singapore and Viet Nam as Co-Chairs of the ASEAN Committee on Disaster Management (ACDM) Working Group on Global Leadership (WGGL). The meeting was also attended by representatives from the Mission of Japan to ASEAN, the ASEAN Secretariat, the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre), and JAIF Management Team (JMT). The AHA Centre, as the implementing agency for the ACE Programme 2018-2020, provided secretariat support to the meeting.
The proponent updated the participants on the implementation of ACE Programme 7th Batch and the course timeline. The meeting also reported the financial status. The Mission of Japan and JMT provided inputs to the discussion on the Future-Driven Strategy for Capacity Development of ASEAN Professionals in Emergency Response and the Building Resilience (FUTURESCAPES) proposal.
