The project “Technical Assistance for Development of the SOMTC-Japan Work Plan” holds first coordination meeting
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 7 March 2018 – The first coordination meeting for the project “Technical Assistance for Development of the SOMTC-Japan Work Plan for Cooperation to Combat Terrorism and Transnational Crime (2018-2022)” was held on 7 March 2018 at the Prime Minister’s Office, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. Representatives from Senior Officials Meeting on Transnational Crime (SOMTC) Brunei, Japan Mission to ASEAN, and Centre for Strategic and International Studies attended the meeting. The JAIF Management Team (JMT) also joined the meeting to provide technical inputs as well as assistance to the project proponent. The meeting discussed the framework of the SOMTC-Japan Work Plan. The proponent also updated the progress of the project implementation including outcomes of country visits.
