The project on Development of VTS Operator’s Capacity implemented by Japan Aids to Navigation Association (JANA) is supported by Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
The opening ceremony was held on 23 October 2018 attended by Director General of the Marine Department, Malaysia, Vice director General, Japan Coast Guard, Dean of IALA WWA, 20 trainees, instructors and other guests.

This project is aimed to promote bioenergy development for sustainable agriculture and strengthen national policy on sustainable bioenergy developement in ASEAN. Recognising the multiple importance and benefits of biomass energy for agricultural communites and rural development, the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF), under the Emergency Economic Assitance (EEA) has offered a funding facility to support this project.
Implemented by the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Programme aims at providing a set of tools for countries across ASEAN to develop and upgrade specific/micro small business in common sectors, providing entrepreneurs and those who work with them guidance on how to establish, run and improve the business – boosting competitiveness and improving services.
