13th Meeting of the ASEAN-Japan Joint Cooperation Committee Working Group (AJJCC-WG)

JAKARTA, 8 March 2019 – The JAIF Management Team (JMT) attended the 13th Meeting of the ASEAN-Japan Joint Cooperation Committee Working Group (AJJCC-WG) at the ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC) on 8 March 2019. The Meeting endorsed to the ASEAN-Japan Joint Cooperation Committee the Revised Guidelines for the JAIF for its possible adoption and the Revised JAIF Handbook for its possible acknowledgment at its 13th Meeting scheduled to be held on 14 March 2019. (Later on, the adoption and acknowledgement were made at the AJJCC Meeting on 14 March 2019.) Further and as part of its regular reporting mechanism, the JMT presented the status of JAIF and its supported projects in year 2018, including JMT activities. The Meeting noted the importance of JAIF Handbook’s dissemination once adopted and appreciated joint effort by ASEC and JMT. It also appreciated the comprehensive reporting of JAIF status.
