JAKARTA, 9 June 2026 - The JAIF Management Team (JMT) welcomed 22 regional disaster management professionals to the office.

The visiting delegates are participants of the AHA Centre Executive: Leadership in Emergency and Disaster Management Programme (ACE-LEDMP). During the visit, the Director of the JMT, Naoki Minamiguchi delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the milestones of Japan-ASEAN Cooperation in Disaster Management, followed by an interactive quiz session.

Primarily supported by the Government of Japan through JAIF, the ACE-LEDMP is a strategic capacity-building initiative. It is dedicated to strengthening the capabilities of ASEAN Member States and equipping future leaders with the tools needed to address complex, evolving disaster management landscapes.

JMT Director provided a presentation to the ACE-LEDMP participants.
