JMT Discusses with the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia
JAKARTA, 29 July 2021 – The JAIF Management Team (JMT) organised a meeting with the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Bandung Institute of Technology (STEI-ITB), Indonesia who acted as the implementing agency of JAIF-supported project Strengthen Information Security in ASEAN: Develop Regional Network Security Best Practices. The project was guided by the needs of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector to strengthen information security in ASEAN by developing best practices and guidelines for regional network security. The project proved contributing to the objectives of working towards enhanced connectivity and sectoral cooperation as stipulated in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) Blueprint 2025, particularly contributing to C.2 Information and Communication Technology and ASEAN ICT Masterplan 2020 action point 8.1.2 Develop Regional Network Security Best Practices.
The meeting served as the venue to develop closer ties between JMT and the Bandung Institute of Technology. The Institute is versed in ASEAN cooperation projects and proves to have technical competency in ICT to implement related projects.
