JAKARTA, 10 November 2022 – The inception meeting of the Capacity Building for Government Officials/Staff to Bridge the ASEAN Digital Divide in the Post-Covid 19 project was held virtually on 10 November 2022. The meeting, which was initiated by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics of Indonesia (KOMINFO) as the proponent and implementing agency of the project, was also attended by representatives from the Japan Telecommunications Engineering and Consulting Service (JTEC) and the Mission of Japan to ASEAN.

JMT Programme Coordinator Zin Aung Swe presented important elements of JAIF rules and procedures and shared the visibility guidelines for JAIF projects, including the JAIF logo guide and template. He also highlighted the importance of project reporting. The meeting as a whole intended to create a better understanding of the JAIF rules and procedures pertaining to project implementation and management, and thus his presentation was well appreciated by the participants.
