JAKARTA, 27 February 2025 - The JAIF Management Team (JMT) welcomed the Attachment Officers for a briefing session on JAIF and JMT. As part of the attachment programme under the Initiative for ASEAN Integration (IAI), the officers will spend a year working with relevant divisions of the ASEAN Secretariat to deepen their understanding of regional cooperation.

For the first time, officers from Timor-Leste have joined the programme alongside officers from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Viet Nam (CLMV). The programme aims to support these countries in meeting ASEAN regional commitments and ensuring that the benefits of ASEAN integration are shared equitably.

For over two decades, JAIF has supported 120 officers through this initiative, strengthening regional cooperation and capacity-building across ASEAN.
