On 16 March, Ambassador Kiya of the Mission of Japan to ASEAN received a courtesy call by the ASEAN Regional Mine Action Center (ARMAC) Executive Director, Mr. Prum Suonpraseth, and Project Manager, Ms. Chanthana Sengthong at the Mission of Japan to ASEAN.

ARMAC conveyed their appreciation for Japan’s support through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF), particularly on the Enhance Awareness Programs on the Dangers of Mine/Explosive Remnants of War (ERW).

They further discussed potential cooperation for future projects in line with ARMAC’s mission to avoid risks in the region.
