With the support of the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF), the ACE Leadership in Emergency and Disaster Management for ASEAN Programme (ACE‑LEDMP) Phase II project aims to enhance the leadership skills, strategic decision‑making, and coordination capacities of junior, middle, and senior executive-level officers and leaders from the National Disaster Management. The speakers include Secretary-General of Palang Merah Indonesia (Indonesian Red Cross), Abdurrahman Muhammad Fachir; Head of Delegation and IFRC Representative to ASEAN, Country Cluster Delegation for Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, and Timor-Leste, Kathryn Clarkson; Head of Legal Department/Deputy Head of Delegation, ICRC Regional Delegation for Indonesia and Timor-Leste, Christian Donny Putranto.

ACE-LEDMP Junior Executive Level, Third Batch 2026 Visit to ASEC, JMT, Basarnas, and BMKG in Jakarta

The ACE-LEDMP Junior Executive Level - Third Batch 2026 had the privilege of visiting the ASEAN Secretariat, the JAIF Management Team (JMT), the National Search and Rescue Agency of Indonesia (Basarnas), and the Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (www.bmkg.go.id) in Jakarta. By visiting these institutions, participants gained valuable insights into regional cooperation, emergency response, and disaster preparedness.

The ACE-LEDMP Middle Executive Level - Third Batch, 2026 commenced on Monday, 13 July 2026. Opened by the Assistant Director for Certification, Learning, and Development of the AHA Centre, Andrew Mardanugraha, the opening continued with an orientation and introduction of the month-long online learning sessions.
