JENESYS2024 aims to promote mutual trust and understanding among the peoples of Japan, ASEAN Member States, and Timor-Leste, to build a basis for future friendship and cooperation, as well as to encourage an understanding of various aspects of Japan. The project is supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF). 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Lao PDR and Japan

The 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Lao PDR and Japan, JENESYS The Lao PDR and Japan's Information Technology / Regional Revitalization Exchange (Invitation Program for Students) on 30 September to 7 October 2025 was successfully held this year. 15 participants from Lao PDR visited Japan as part of the JENESYS Project. They visited Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto prefecture. They are expected to make use of what they have learnt from this program and contribute to the sustainable development of various sectors in Laos in the future.
