The Regional Workshop on the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) Strategic Plan’s Cross-Pillar Strategic Measures was held on 29–30 June 2026 at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The workshop brought together the ASCC, ASEAN Political Security Community (APSC), ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), and ASEAN Connectivity to share their respective cross-pillar strategic measures, deepen understanding and explore collaboration and coordination for their effective implementation, monitoring, and review.

The Regional Workshop reaffirms ASEAN’s commitment to strengthening cross-pillar mechanisms in advancing the ASEAN Community Vision 2045 and ensuring the effective and sustained implementation of the ASEAN Strategic Plans.

The Regional Workshop was organised by the ASEAN Secretariat, with the support from the Government of Japan, through the Supporting the Development of the ASCC Strategic Plan project under the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
