In times of disaster, the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre) mobilises resources, including stockpiled relief items, to ASEAN countries facing post-disaster emergency situations.

The Establishment of a Disaster Emergency Logistic System for ASEAN (DELSA) - Phase II: Satellite Warehouse project which is currently underway is supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund. By establishing satellite warehouses and pre-positioning stockpile in strategic locations such as in Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines, ASEAN will significantly improve response time to mobilise the resources to ASEAN countries.
