ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Capacity Building Centre (AJCCBC) Conducted Secure Provision Training on 14-15 March 2022
17 March 2022 -

In the light of constant cybersecurity risks that keep posing threats to cyber space, ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Capacity Building Centre (AJCCBC) has expanded its training curriculum boundary by collaborating with the Government of Switzerland in conducting “Secure Provision Training”. This collaboration is the first collaboration beyond ASEAN region and Japan.

With the support from Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan and Embassy of Switzerland in Japan, the Centre has conducted Secure Provision Training on 14th – 15th March 2022 with 22 participants. The training focused on the best practices in avoiding cybersecurity risks that are globally recognized through OWASP Top Ten. What is special about the training is that the trainees were able to investigate those threats from a different point of view “attacker perspectives”, which provided them with a fresh and exciting experience.

The training would not have ended with success without the contributions from the mentioned supporters and cybersecurity professionals as Dr. Alessandro Trivilini from The University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland, who facilitated the creation of the course as well as Mr.Lino Buono and Mr.Antonio Gagliardi from Inthecyber, who guided the participants throughout the training sessions and provided them with a wonderful learning experience.

It is hoped that the participants have acquired the knowledge that will be beneficial for their respective fields of work and for the cybersecurity landscape in the region. AJJCB as the organiser will not stop attempting to expand the training boundary for cybersecurity is one of the roots to strong digital economy and society.

This activity is part of Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) project namely ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Capacity Building Centre (Step 2-2).
