The Project Final Conference of ASEAN-ERAT Phase III and ACE-LEDMP
On 1 August 2025, the AHA Centre celebrated the success of two flagship initiatives supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF): ASEAN-Emergency Response and Assessment Team (ASEAN-ERAT) Phase III and AHA Centre Executive Leadership in Emergency and Disaster Management Programme (ACE-LEDMP).
The Project Final Conference was attended by Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Mission of Japan to ASEAN, CHUJO Kazuo; representatives of the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN; the Ambassador of New Zealand to ASEAN, Joanna Anderson; and AHA Centre partners. The event aimed to bring together key stakeholders and partners to reflect on project outcomes, share lessons learned, and explore opportunities for future cooperation.
From strengthening rapid disaster response across ASEAN to empowering emerging leaders in disaster management, the ASEAN-ERAT Phase III and ACE-LEDMP projects have made a lasting impact on regional resilience.
