JENESYS2019 Exchange program to promote understanding of Japan (5th Batch) – (Country: Vietnam, Theme: Japanese cultural exchange)
From January 10 to the 18, 23 Japanese high school students will visit Vietnam.
During the visit to Vietnam, the group conducted exchanges and cultural experiences with local students, visited and inspected Japanese ODA-related facilities, and deepened their knowledge on the relationship between Japan and Vietnam and Japan’s international contributions. The group plans to take advantage of the various opportunities inside and work to spread the appeal of Japan.
Through this program, young people who have the ability to communicate externally and play a leading role in Japan’s future will deepen their knowledge based on the themes, actively disseminate Japan’s appeal and information, promote understanding of Japan in Vietnam. It is expected to contribute to strengthening the foundation for mutual understanding and trusting relationships.
The JENESYS2019 is an exchange programme for the youths of Japan and ASEAN supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
