Southeast Asian cybersecurity center opens in Thailand
14 September 2018 -
A cybersecurity center opened in Thailand on Friday to train personnel from countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to help combat cyber threats in the attack-prone region. About 700 cybersecurity personnel from Southeast Asia are expected to graduate from the Japan-designed programs, which include cyber defense, digital forensics and malware analysis.
The ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Capacity Building Centre is a project supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
