Upcoming Training Workshop on Begomovirus and Development of Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP)

This workshop would be an eye-opener not only to Asian countries but worldwide in obtaining a better understanding about the economic significance of begomoviruses and the devastating disease(s) it causes to major life-sustaining crops in the world. This workshop aims to provide basic and practical understanding on Begomoviruses, importance of the virus and select strategies in managing diseases due to Begomoviruses among other objectives.

The workshop is part of the Taxonomic Capacity Building to Support Market Access for Agricultural Trade in the ASEAN Region – Phase 2 project supported by the Government of Japan through Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
