JENESYS2019 Exchange program to promote understanding of Japan (26th Batch) (Countries: Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Timor-Leste, Theme: Youth sports exchange (soccer))
From February 24 to March 4, 115 youths from U-19 national soccer team and officials from the soccer associations of the ASEAN 4 countries (Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar) and Timor-Leste participating in the “Youth Sports Exchange (Soccer)” will visit Japan.
The delegates will visit Ibusuki City, Kagoshima Prefecture as a program under the theme of “sports exchange (soccer)” and from February 26 to March 1, with the cooperation of the Japan Football Association, joint soccer practice, exchange matches, and meetings will be held among the young participants from different countries and Japan. In addition, during their stay, they will visit the soccer museum and experience cultural activities.
Through this program, young people from participating countries, who will play important roles in the future, are expected to deepen their friendship and understanding of Japan and proactively communicate the charm of Japan learned through their experience of visiting Japan.
