On 9 May 2025, the JAIF Management Team (JMT) welcomed 20 disaster management professionals from nine ASEAN Member States, as part of the AHA Centre Executive Leadership in Emergency and Disaster Management for ASEAN Programme (ACE-LEDMP) Middle-Level - Second Batch 2025. Supported by the Government of Japan through JAIF, this two-month programme aims to strengthen disaster management across the region.

During the visit, JMT provided a presentation on ASEAN-Japan cooperation in disaster management, followed by a quiz session.

The training for the second batch will wrap up with a graduation ceremony on 23 May 2025.

The ACE-LEDMP programme is primarily supported by the Government of Japan through JAIF.
