In March 2025, the AHA Centre brought together 15 members from across the region for intensive training on civil-military coordination, a vital component in effective disaster response.

These specialists were trained to perform the role and key functions of an ASEAN-ERAT Civil-Military Coordination Specialist in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations, implementing the ASEAN Civil-Military Coordination Framework and strengthening civilian and military networks in the ASEAN region.
