15 participants from the ASEAN Member States and AHA Centre were equipped with skills, knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours required to effectively perform the duties of Civil-Military Coordination Specialists during emergency response.

Participants enhanced their knowledge and practical skills through interactive classroom sessions, case studies, and simulation exercises covering ASEAN and international civil-military coordination mechanisms, humanitarian logistics, military-to-military coordination, protection during disaster response, and negotiation techniques.

The Strengthening the Capacity of the ASEAN Emergency Response and Assessment Team (ASEAN-ERAT) Phase IV project is supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
