ASEAN-ERAT Level 2 Course on Rapid Assessment

Hosted by the Civil Defense of the Philippines in Manila from 6-10 July 2026, the ASEAN Emergency Response and Assessment Team (ASEAN-ERAT) Level 2 Course on Rapid Assessment brought together 14 disaster management professionals to strengthen their ability to conduct rapid assessments during emergency response operations.

The programme combined online learning through the AHA Centre Learning Management System (LMS), where participants completed pre-reading materials, with an onsite Simulation Exercise (SimEx) in Manila to apply their learning in realistic emergency scenarios.

The Strengthening the Capacity of the ASEAN Emergency Response and Assessment Team (ASEAN-ERAT) Phase IV project is supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
