ACAI Conducts Special Session “From Evidence to Action: Advancing Regional Strategies for Active Ageing”

The ASEAN Centre for Active Ageing and Innovation (ACAI)-led special session “From Evidence to Action: Advancing Regional Strategies for Active Ageing” concluded as part of a broader series of meetings convened by ACAI during the Prince Mahidol Award Conference 2026 (PMAC2026).
The session marked the launch of the Final ASEAN Regional Action Plan (RAP) on Active Ageing and brought together regional policymakers, researchers, and partners to reflect on the ASEAN Active Ageing Index (AAAI) as a practical tool to support evidence-based policy, monitoring, and learning across ASEAN.
ACAI extends sincere gratitude to the moderator and all speakers for their thoughtful insights, and to the ASEAN Active Ageing Index country focal points for their continued technical contributions and commitment throughout this phase.
ACAI gratefully acknowledges the generous support of the International Development Research Centre (CRDI) and the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF), which has enabled sustained regional dialogue, consultation, and collaboration.
