JMT conducts second socialization session for ASEC staff in 2019

JAKARTA, 7 November 2019 – The JAIF Management Team (JMT), in collaboration with the ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC) Program Cooperation and Project Management Division (PCPMD), organized the second of two (2) JAIF Socialization Sessions for ASEC staff intended for the year 2019. The Socialization Session aims to facilitate understanding of the updated JAIF Handbook acknowledged by the 13th ASEAN-Japan Joint Cooperation Committee (AJJCC) Meeting on 14 March 2019. The first Socialization Session was conducted on 16 May 2019. While covering the same contents, the second one was particularly meant for those ASEC staff who were not able to attend the first Socialization Session, notably those new to the ASEC.

A total of 34 participants were in attendance, which included 15 ASEC Desk Officers (DOs), five (5) Attachment Officers (AO), three (3) PCPMD officers, two (2) officers from the Mission of Japan to ASEAN, and nine (9) JMT officers.
