JMT Participates in the 5th Project Steering Committee Meeting for the “AHA Centre Executive (ACE) Programme 2021”

JAKARTA, 19 February 2021 – The 5th Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting for the AHA Centre Executive (ACE) Programme 2018-2021 was held on 19 February 2021, convened online. The meeting was presided by Indonesia, Singapore and Viet Nam as Co-Chairs of the ASEAN Committee on Disaster Management (ACDM) Working Group on Global Leadership (WG on GL) and also attended by representatives from the Mission of Japan to ASEAN, ASEAN Secretariat, the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre) and JAIF Management Team (JMT). The AHA Centre, as the implementing agency for the ACE Programme 2018-2021, also provided secretariat support to the meeting.

The meeting reviewed and was updated on the project implementation and financial status. The AHA Centre presented the report on the conduct of the ACE Programme Impact Evaluation study and updated Future-Driven Strategy for Capacity Development of ASEAN Professionals in Emergency Response and in Building Resilience (FUTURESCAPES) concept note.
