On 30 April 2025, the JAIF Management Team (JMT) and the Mission of Japan to ASEAN brainstormed potential areas of support to ASEAN Member States with Google Indonesia. The discussion at Google Indonesia’s office covered topics such as AI guidelines and public-private partnerships for the ASEAN region. JMT also clarified the eligibility criteria for the private sector to play a concrete role in implementing JAIF-funded projects.
