Delegates from the ASEAN Secretariat visited the ASEAN-Japan Centre (AJC) as part of the ASEAN Human Educational Development Scholarship Partners (AHEAD50) kick-off mission.

AHEAD50 is a new scholarship program mentioned in the Implementation Plan of the Joint Vision Statement on ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation. This plan was adopted by the leaders of Japan and ASEAN at the Commemorative Summit for the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation, which took place in Tokyo in December 2023.

AJC staff members presented the organisation's mission and initiatives to the delegates and discussed ways to cooperate to raise awareness of AJC activities among people in the ASEAN Member States.
