The Myanmar Productivity Center was officially established on 22 June 2019 and will be fully operational.

The initiative is part of the project Capacity Building of Industrial Human Resource Development Organization for Productivity Improvement in Myanmar (Phase II) supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
