ASEAN-ERAT Refresher Course on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support
Held in Bali on 9-13 June 2025, the ASEAN-ERAT Refresher Course on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) brought together 46 ASEAN-ERAT members from the ASEAN Member States, the ASEAN Secretariat, and the AHA Centre to reinforce mental health awareness and psychosocial resilience in disaster response.
AHA Centre also welcomes President of MERCY Malaysia, Dato Dr. Ahmad Faizal Bin Mohd Perdaus, and Executive Director of the AHA Centre, Lee Yam Ming, who officially opened the course. Their presence reaffirms the strong partnership and shared commitment to building a more resilient ASEAN.
With the support of the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) and in collaboration with MERCY Malaysia, this initiative empowers our responders to not only support others but also care for their own well-being.
